Creating the futures you want to see — together.

Bemae Group is a technology and strategic foresight consultancy. We help organizations plan ten, twenty-five, even fifty years ahead — without losing sight of the work in front of them today.

WHAT SETS US APART

Four pillars. One practice. Almost nobody combines all four.

Most consultancies pick a lane — tech, strategy, or policy — and stay in it. Bemae built its entire practice at the intersection of all four, on purpose.

01 — Technology

Your tech liaison, not a template

Most consultants hand you a generic roadmap. We build assessments, implementation, and training around how your organization actually works.

02 — Strategic Foresight

We plan in decades, not quarters

Most firms plan for next year. We help you design for the next ten, twenty-five, even fifty — because the organizations still standing that far out started preparing today.

03 — Education

The work doesn't stop at the boardroom

We carry foresight into classrooms, too. As Malcolm X put it, "education is the passport to the future" — tomorrow belongs to whoever prepares for it today.

04 — Policy & Advocacy

We don't stay quiet on policy

Most tech consultants leave policy to someone else. We speak for the voices too often left out of the room — because, as Maya Angelou put it, settling for normal means "you'll never know how amazing you can be."

"Every crisis has both its dangers and its opportunities" — and which one wins out depends on how you respond.
— Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., a lesson Bemae returns to with every client
OUR PHILOSOPHY

Rooted in legacy. Built for what's next.

Every tradition that has endured did it by planning beyond its own lifetime. We bring that same long view to technology, policy, and organizational strategy — for clients who refuse to be caught off guard by the future.

STRATEGIC FORESIGHT, IN PRACTICE

How far out are you planning?

Pick a horizon. This is roughly how our thinking changes the further out we look.

00

Solve what's urgent.

Stabilize the systems already under pressure. This is triage — and it has to come first.

10

Design for what's inevitable.

Build the infrastructure your growth will need before you need it — so you're not rebuilding while running.

25

Plan for who isn't in the room yet.

The next generation inherits the decisions made today. We help you make ones worth inheriting.

50

Author the future, don't react to it.

This is where strategic foresight stops being a planning exercise and starts becoming legacy.

OUR FOUNDER & QUARTERBACK

"A futurist," he says, "is just a dope term for someone who cares about the future enough to plan for it."

Dr. Creston Burse
OWNER & CHIEF STRATEGY OFFICER

Over twenty years of federal, private, and corporate IT experience sit behind every plan Bemae writes. A Jackson Public Schools alum himself, Dr. Burse holds a PhD in Strategic Foresight from Regent University and sits on the board of The Bean Path, part of Jackson's growing tech corridor. He calls the plays, organizes the team, and adjusts when the unexpected shows up — because in this line of work, it always does.

EDUCATION · THE YOUNG FUTURISTS PROJECT

We're not just planning the future. We're training who builds it.

A strategic-foresight and technology program for grades 3rd through 12th, run by Bemae in partnership with the Jackson Medical Mall since January 2020.

The Young Futurists Project started as an innovation hub built on a simple idea: the future of health gets shaped by the technologists, creators, and advocates a community raises — not just the systems it builds. As the program's Foresight Instructor, Dr. Burse helped fold strategic foresight, emerging technology, and trend literacy into a broader STEAM curriculum that also touches entrepreneurship, design, and the arts. More than 625 students in Jackson have come through the program so far, with new cohorts joining each year through afterschool and summer sessions.

"We do it. We just don't know we're doing it."— Dr. Creston Burse, on strategic foresight in the African-American community, in RWJF's The Futures We Create
